Combating Human Trafficking: A Discussion on the Second-Largest-Criminal Enterprise

The Law Alumni Association Board and President Joan Gross '76, partner at Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, cordially invite you to attend a luncheonto hear a discussion on the 10 Things You May Not Know About Human Trafficking, and an update on the law school by Dean Michael Scharf.

Led by Professor, Co-Director and Co-Founder of the CWRU School of Law's Human Trafficking Law Project Maureen Guirguis (Kenny), the discussion will shed light on the important topic of human trafficking, which is now the second-largest criminal enterprise in the world. The Human Trafficking Law Project is one of the few specialized programs targeted at combating human trafficking in the country. Its mission is to represent juvenile and adult human-trafficking victims, advocate for legislative reform for human-trafficking victims, and educate and raise awareness on an issue of growing consequence.

Cost to attend is $10 per person. Lunch and valet parking included.
