![]() Student Life and Leadership
At Case School of Law our students participate in nearly fifty student organizations. And those numbers keep growing. We support the creativity and energy of our students, whose initiative and leadership have led to the creation of ten new student groups in the past two years.
The student organizations at Case School of Law are much more than a vehicle for exploring legal interests with peers; they provide a valuable proving ground for leadership skill development and extraordinary opportunities to work with Case professors and national legal practitioners. A few of our organizations are highlighted below. Visit our student organizations page for more information about our 40+ student organizations. Canada-United States Law Institute The Canada-United States Law Institute is dedicated to exploring the complex transnational and international legal issues affecting the trade relationship between the United States and its largest trading partner - Canada. Student Bar Association All registered law students are members of the Student Bar Association. Through the SBA, students have an active, powerful voice in shaping the law school's curricular and co-curricular life. This government body acts as a liason between the students and administration to ensure that the student voice is heard. Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity Delta Theta Phi is one of the largest law fraternities in the country, and it is the most recognized law fraternity in Cleveland. Our focus is Fellowship, Leadership, and Excellence. Student Public Interest Law Fellowship The Student Public Interest Law Fellowship (SPILF) is a non-partisan student organization that aims to encourage students to consider careers in public interest law; to support and advocate for students who have chosen public interest careers; and to raise money to provide grants to law students who accept summer internships with public interest employers in lieu of more lucrative summer employment.
